Problem:
With over 400 dealers across Canada, Suzuki required an online extranet system to centralize their operations and automate countless manual tasks.

Suzuki Canada also uses several legacy systems that required custom programming to be available online.

Solution:
After thorough analysis of Suzuki's infrastructure, existing systems, and business logic, Rebel Trail developed an enterprise-level extranet to accommodate all of Suzuki's goals

The extranet serves as a secure access point for all of the dealers across Canada. Each dealer and subsequent employee may login to the system and perform a variety of tasks that before were all manual. Dealers may submit sales reports, view accounting information, order parts, access corporate information, view inventory, place monthly orders, and fully interact with Suzuki head office.

In subsequent updates of the system rebel trail has added functionality for Suzuki such as:

• Technician Testing System, where Suzuki performs online tests of their technicians to ensure knowledge compliance on new models and features.
   
• Digital Model Library, an area where service technicians can access wiring diagrams and schematics for all Suzuki vehicles.
   
• Vehicle Ordering System; a system by which dealers can place future vehicle orders based on sales projections to ensure inventory levels remain stable.
   
• Vehicle Tracking System; a system that tracks a new vehicle's location from the moment it leaves the assembly line to the time it arrives at a dealership.
   
• Vehicle Distribution System; a system that intelligently distributes vehicles across Canada based on dealer demand and inventory availability.

Client: Ontario Provincial Government
Problem:
The Ontario PC Government was in need of a web site and intranet that could supply up-to-the minute press releases, a comprehensive document library, and the ability for their MPPs to communicate with their constituents.

Solution:
Within 2 months, Rebel Trail had constructed the fully bilingual Ontario PC Caucus web site We recognized the need to have current information readily available. We constructed a very secure, highly functional Content Management System (CMS) with many access levels; each access level would entitle the user to update a particular portion of the web site.

The system is so easy to use that even the most novice computer user can be trained within 15 minutes. Further, as the CMS is web based, Caucus employees may maintain the web site from Queen’s Park or any of the various MPP offices across Ontario.

The document Library was set up in a similar manner, where the Caucus employees may upload and categorize documents quickly and easily. In addition, a full text and category automated search engine aids user in finding a document in records time.

To solve the communication problem with MPPs and their constituents, Rebel Trail suggested placing Virtual Town Halls on the MPP web sites. The Virtual Town Hall is a moderated chat room, where the MPP may answer questions from his or her constituents in real time. Constituents are invited to join the discussion at a pre-scheduled time, and are verified as members of the MPP riding by inputting their postal code. After which they are granted access to the Virtual Town Hall, which is conducted by the MPP.

The moderator can be conducting the chat anywhere an Internet connection exists, be it Queens Park, Their riding office, or even their home.
