Web sites have evolved to the point where they are truly
dynamic and interactive. An interactive web site is one that responds when the user performs an action. Below are examples of just some of
the interactivity in Web Sites that Rebel Trail can provide...
Video / Audio Streaming
Using video streaming technology, we can incorporate live samples of any audio or
video clips you wish to publicize. We use QuickTime, Windows Media,
or Real Networks technology to make your clips come to life.
Flash
Flash is the solution for producing and delivering high-impact Web
sites. Pulsing musical tracks, sound effects, gorgeous animations, and
innovative interfaces all converge in Flash.
Flash sites
are more attractive than those using traditional Web technologies. Beyond
their good looks, Flash sites are also about speed. The vector-based sites
play as they download, and Flash technology delivers Web sites efficiently,
even over slow modem connections. Flash sites playback full-screen, on all
monitor sizes, and consistently across multiple platforms so that users have
a consistently dazzling experience.
If you wish to use this technology for your site, Rebel
Trail's Flash Technology experts will build a sizzling multimedia
introduction for your web site, or part of a web site, that coveys the true
"WOW" factor. We will custom create the music soundtracks as well.
Bulletin Boards
Bulletin Boards behave in a similar manner as Chat Rooms, however messages
posted here have a longer duration. Upon entering the Bulletin Board section
of your web site, users will again have the option of selecting a topic of
interest. They will then be invited to either:
a) Browse / Search through existing messages
b) Post a new message
c) Reply to existing messages
As the administrator of these Bulletin Boards, you have
the option of allowing messages to be instantly posted by the user, or be
held in a special area available to the public pending your approval. You
can simply check-off the messages you wish to be posted, and those you wish
to have deleted. Like Chat Rooms, Bulletin Boards can add real interactivity
and community presence to your web site.
Chat Rooms
A chat room is a truly interactive technology that can add real
interactivity to your web site. Chat Rooms allow users to discuss issues in
real time, while on your site, by typing messages that are instantly
displayed in a distinct area on a web page. Chat Rooms can be separated by
topic such as: current events, health care, budget discussions, etc. where
users may discuss a common topic of interest.
Further,
with Chat Rooms, you may make use of "Moderated Events". A Moderated Event
is where a primary figure, such as an expert or celebrity, will "host" a
chat room, to either answer questions or discuss issues with the online
public. Anyone with access to your site may pose a question or discuss an
issue with the primary figure. All questions posed during a moderated event
are not released to the chat room until the primary figure approves them.
This eliminates the possibility of a user "heckling" the primary figure, or
placing disparaging comments in the chat room. Normally, moderated events
are advertised ahead of time on the web site.
Virtual Reality
Using the
state-of-the-art Virtual Reality (VR) technology, Rebel Trail can provide VR
"tours" of a room, or interior area. The VR tour lets a user explore an area
in a way never before available to them. For the first time, a user can
experience three dimensional depth and perspective of an area - all while
they are online. In addition, the user can even control their view and
navigate either left or right, up or down, and zoom in or out. As the user
navigates within the three dimensional world, certain areas can be "hotspots". A
hotspot is a highlighted area in the VR scene that may be clicked upon to
gain more information.
